– ABOUT THE PROJECT
In the historic 1000 Parker warehouse building, Suzy Baker has a beautiful emporium of vintage Turkish textiles and hand-made soft goods using textiles she’s carefully curated during her many travels through the Middle East. In order to raise the profile of her designs and business, BCreative was brought on to organise and market a unique one-night event – not a standard sales event but one with a creative flair to showcase the client’s creative purpose. One Night In Byzantium was the result. A mixed-media cultural event that featured the client’s collection of Turkish goods along with Turkish-themed films and a live performance by a French-Turkish chanteuse. A wildly successful night. And it was an honour that the national Globe and Mail selected One Night In Byzantium for their 10 Best To Do In Vancouver list.
