Art Consulting for Hotel Common Areas
– ABOUT THE PROJECT
BCreative Consulting worked with BOX Interior Design to update the artwork in the lobby, offices and common areas for the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel. Carefully curating the art, we were able to breathe new life and a contemporary vibe into these spaces, elevating their style and aesthetic appeal. The artwork package included pieces by local Vancouver artists that spoke to the hotel’s position as an oasis of comfort for many overstressed travellers. Art is an excellent gateway to the goal of drifting away peacefully.
The Coast Vancouver Airport project included commissioning a single stand out art piece from a local artist to give the expanded lobby area a greater sense of presence. The creation of custom artwork not only ensures space and aesthetic needs are properly marked but it’s a key opportunity to create something singular and exceptional while supporting the local arts community.
